You’ll have: 



• 12 years’ experience in systems development and implementation 
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Engineering discipline preferred 
• 5 Years demonstrated experience leading technical members, while staying hands on technically 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical requirements effectively to the business and across multidisciplinary teams 
• Strong ability to forge and reinforce strong software engineering principles and best practices 
• Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform, Deep understanding of Kafka architecture and components. 
•  Experience with Confluent Kafka components like Cloud Kafka, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and KSQLDB. 
• Experience with Apache Flink, Apache Storm, or Apache Spark Streaming. 
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs 
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Azure 
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance. 
• Experience with Scala or Python for data processing tasks. 
• Confluent Certified Kafka Developer or Administrator certification preferred
